This year, our Fourth of July was spent doing all of America's favorite things! We started the day by going to a block party down in Long Beach on my Uncle Dick and Aunt Crystal's street. The entire street shut down and everyone came out with tons of food, music and games. Their street is perfect too because it has tons of huge trees that prevented us from getting sunburned! 
JD met our little cousin, Jackson, who is just the busiest little boy. Of course from then on JD could only be found playing with him. He figured out how to work the lemonade dispenser, and he found the ultimate treasure-- THE COOKIES!!! And this is how we found Jackson...
My Uncle Dick was in charge of the chicken (which was amazing!) They are quite the "party throwers!"
The food was so good and we got to visit with so many people that we dont see very often. (my sweet husband is so good at meeting and mingling with new people.) But it was great to spend time with the whole family...
How cute are they huh!? JD was so cute with him.
My cute sister, Jillian. She won the award for best red,white and blue outfit. She's single, and so sweet- call me if you want her number!
Then is was off to the Angels game to watch them slaughter the Toronto Blue Jays "It's what our forefathers would have wanted- to beat Canada!" -JD Price They did a huge flag ceremony on the field and had a sweet flyover.

Wow! You guys are one great looking couple! I'm glad you are my "sister"! Are you guys coming to visit Salt Lake this summer!? If you do... we MUST hang out!
Those are great pictures. That looked like a fantastic block party. As to JD's comment on beating Canada, I think our forefathers really would want us to invade Canada.
